Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Course

Our private, Robert Trent Jones Course, is the more challenging of the two Rock Barn courses and strategically balances playability with an interesting layout that takes full advantage of the terrain, including Lyle Creek, which meanders throughout the course. It features 7169 yards of scenic golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course has been the recipient of many awards including “Best New Course in the State” by North Carolina Magazine in 2003. In 2023, the North Carolina Golf Panel ranked the Jones Course the 25^th best course to play in the state and the 5^th best course in the western region. It was also home to the PGA Senior Champions’ tour event, the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn, for 13 years.
